Anna Silk is Canadian actress that is most well-known in Canada for the role of Bo. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk and Peter Silk were both professors. Ilkay was also a writer, producer, and director. She is director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. One of Anna's first memories include going to the play school and watching her mother do her job. Silk produced a number of commercials when she was still a kid. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was engaged in two early theater productions including Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999, to keep acting. She then relocated to Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an actor'sworkshop held located in Los Angeles. In 2009, the couple were married civilly in December 2009. The couple got married in Fredericton on the 10th of April in the couple renewed their vows after her change of religion to Judaism. Silk was blessed with a son that was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman on May 13, 2013. The second son of hers, Levi Aaron was born on May 13 2016. Silk has a number of television roles, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. She was nominated for Gemini Awards in 2009 to play this character. The Canadian series Lost Girl cast her as Bo Dennis, the lead character from the succubus. Silk revealed to her followers that she was pregnant in January 2013 at the Showcase Season Three Special. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20, 2013 that production was underway for Season 4. On 4 June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures confirmed the start of Production for the Fourth season. The CNN Cable News Network named her portrayal of Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) in Lost Girl as same-sex couples among their top television Couples. E! named the couple as the top Television Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk's growth has brought an extensive online presence through social media.
