Megan Gale
Gale who was 18 at the time was 18 when she won a Perth model contest in the year she was 18. Gale was modeling for many decades before becoming famous at the age of 19 when Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) invited her to appear in commercials. She continued to work for the company up to 2006. In 2003 she was hired by the Australian Tourist Commission hired Gale to represent Australia in Italy. Gale has been featured on the covers of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia, Gioia, Italian and Australian GQ, Italian Maxim, Australian InStyle and featured in the editorials for Australian Cosmopolitan as well as Vogue Italia. Gale modeled for Italian house brands such as Gianfranco ferre, Genny as well as Gai Matiolo. Gale also modeled for runway shows for Milan Fashion Week for Mariella Burani and Angelo Marani. Gale is also a fan of a variety of Australian fashion designers, including Colette dinnigan, Kirrily Johnsonston, Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. Also, she was the expert on fashion for the Logies which is which is an Australian television award. In January 2008, Gale announced her retirement from runway modeling after 15 years. She walked on the catwalk one last time only a couple of weeks later at a David Jones winter collection launch in Sydney. Her final outfit was her Wonder Woman outfit she was to wear in the still-shelved film Justice League of America. Gale finished Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival 2011 show in March of 2011.
